Ffrindiau Bro Gwaun / Friends of Bro Gwaun

Croeso i Ffrindiau Bro Gwaun.

We are a small, informal and friendly group of parents and carers of present and past pupils from the school and staff. 

We usually meet once or twice a term depending on the events planned. These are informal co-ordinating meetings held in school and usually not lasting more than an hour. 

We organise fun, family-friendly events to raise money for the school for extra-curricular spending that benefits all pupils and their education as well as enhancing their school experiences.

Past events include: an Easter Bingo, Christmas Fairs and a Duck Race, to name but a few. 

Being a Friend/Ffrind of YBG is good fun and a great way to get involved in supporting our school and its pupils.

Ideas for fundraising and support running events are just as welcome as attending meetings. Any way you can get involved is valuable.  Please feel free to drop into our next meeting (below) to say hello and get a feel for what we do. Or you can contact one of the following members to discuss how much or how little you might like to be involved:

Most recently we are proud to have contributed towards funding:  Gwaun Fest, end of term and year prizes for pupils, essential equipment for departments across the school, the School production and many more.

We want to keep up the good work so please bring your fresh ideas and support to keep us going from strength to strength.
