Year 10 Geography students have been busy in June and July completing both elements of their GCSE fieldwork.
In June, the students studied the Afon Syfynwy from the source in Pantmaenog forest to its mouth near the hamlet of Gelli. Purpose of the fieldwork was to collect data such as the flow of water, the wetted perimeter and a landscape assessment.
The second fieldwork experience saw the pupils conduct an urban investigation looking at the difference between out of town shopping areas compared to the more traditional shopping areas in town centres. Haverfordwest was the case study used.
