2020-12-11 IMPORTANT- END OF TERM MESSAGE
Dear Parent/Carer,
Thank you all for your fantastic support this term which I believe has been a successful one regardless of the covid cases we have had to deal with. I’m pleased to report that thankfully, as we come to the end of the term, we don’t have any active cases or pupils/staff in isolation, which I hope will give everyone in our school community the opportunity to relax and have a safe and enjoyable Christmas.
Just a few important points please:
Wishing you a peaceful, relaxing and safe Christmas.
Paul Edwards and all at YBG.
2020-12-11 PWYSIG – NEGES DIWEDD TYMOR
Annwyl Riant/Warcheidwad,
Diolch i chi am eich cefnogaeth gwych y tymor yma. Credaf fod y tymor wedi bod yn un llwyddiannus er gwaethaf yr achosion Covid rydym wedi gorfod delio â hwy. Rwy’n falch i adrodd nad oes gennym un achos Covid ar hyn o bryd a does dim aelodau o staff na disgyblion wedi gorfod hunan ynysu. Gobeithiaf y bydd hyn yn rhoi cyfle i gymdeithas yr ysgol orffwyso, cadw’n ddiogel a mwynhau y Nadolig.
Dyma rhai pwyntiau pwysig os gwelwch yn dda:
Os fydd eich plentyn wedi derbyn canlyniad positif o Covid dros y gwyliau, e bostiwch enw, blwyddyn ysgol ac enw ysgol eich plentyn i: education.coronavirus@pembrokeshire.gov.uk
Er sylw i chi, mae’r cyfnod hunan ynysu wedi newid nawr i ddeg diwrnod.
Dymunaf Nadolig heddychlon, gorffwysol a diogel i chi gyd.
Paul Edwards a phawb yn Ysgol Bro Gwaun.
Please see important update from the local authority, including FAQs. Please contact the school for enquiries about childcare.
Pembrokeshire County Council will require all staff and learners in secondary schools to carry face coverings with them. They will be expected to use them in communal areas and corridors in line with the school’s own risk assessment. Face coverings are recommended where social distancing cannot be maintained. However they are not a replacement for far more effective measures such as good hand hygiene and social distancing.
All pupils are asked to ensure that they bring an appropriate face covering to the school on their return.
