Pembrokeshire 5x60 Girls Cricket

On Friday the 9th of March a Pembrokeshire 5x60 Girls Cricket competition was held in Tasker Millward School.

There were two competition held on the day, a U13 & U15 competition.

With no practice the U13 did really well but unfortunately loss both matches, one match was extremely close with the girls losing by just 1 run.

The U15 were undefeated in their first two matches against Ysgol Dewi Sant and Pembroke which gave them a place in the final against STP.

With the girls batting first in the final they scored a very impressive 68 runs, with Captain Lily Cox and Sioned Thomas batting really well and with the all the girls fielding superbly with some fantastic catching it meant STP could only manage to score 51 runs which gave the Bro Gwaun girls the win and becoming U15 champions. Well done Girls

The girls will now represent Pembrokeshire in Llandarcy.
